So, here I am, at the end of my third week at the “factory” . . . pre-cleaning blades for aircraft and such, and shining them up with an electric wire brush. By the time I get home, from 11 PM to 1:340 AM, it seems like an amazing feat of strength just to turn on the computer. And then? Up early enough to get something done before the afternoon shift begins again? Not. Speaking of shifts, Don and I are “shifting” for sure. He’s doing the housework. Fixing the meals. He’s even struggling with sleep much as I’ve done for decades. Welcome to my world! Hmmmm. This shifting thing doesn’t feel so bad after all. In the meantime, I’m wondering if I’ll be able to scratch up enough funds to go to my agent’s conference. Guess I’ll have to put in a few more hours on-the-job. Check out the Unicorn Writer’s Conference on April 28 . . . the web address is available in my last post. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out my books! The Seed placed as a top-ten finalist as a work-in-progress. Deals with a plot to control our food supply by unethical GMO giants.
