As an author and artist, my work time is also play time. And sometimes it’s exciting! Like when I was invited by the MOMforAmerica.com group to have a booth at the Washington Marriott-at-the-Metro-Center last summer. The featured author was nationally-syndicated political commentator Michelle Malkin. Wow! Here’s a picture of the two of us together:And, then . . . I met the charming chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation who since then has enthusiastically welcomed the idea of Johnny Vic meeting FD himself! Oh, there’s also the fact that a descendant of founding father John Jay is helping me with “family insights” into his illustrious ancestor. Wow! That’s all part of my next Johnny Vic adventure.
